Playroom Reveal

Well I FINALY deemed the playroom finished!

Technically is still needs some molding on each set of blinds but I think we are going to steal them from another room and well, we just haven't gotten around to doing that.

I originally wanted the bulk of our toy storage to be something like this.

But after pricing it out an Ikea EXPEDIT just couldn't be beat.  In the end I'm really happy with it.  It's easy to throw toys in the buckets and allows me to display some of my favorite toys in the top open shelving.  If we ever need some more toy storage I can get some more bins.  Win win win!

My favorite part of the entire room in the book wall.  When I saw this idea on Pinterest forever ago I knew that when we found a house this would be one of our first projects.  I am so happy with the way it turned out!

After posting these pictures I realized that the room looks a little sparse.  I may end up adding a few more embellishments to the room.  Maybe some place for the boys to hang their art work or something.  But for now I think it's great.  Especially because it does not normally look like this.  Usually there are toys scattered all over the floor.  Which is why I LOVE having a playroom so much.  The boys can play and I don't have to worry about toys taking up my entire house which is what they did when we lived in a condo that was less than half the size of this house!
